What is an Orifice Meter Run
Orifice meter run device is widely used in the development and production for measuring the flow rate of gas and liquid. A whole set of orifice meter run device is composed of upstream tube UL1 and UL2, flow conditioner, dual chamber or single chamber orifice fitting, downstream tube DL and skid frame. When liquid or gas medium flows through upstream tube, it is adjusted by the flow conditioner to reduce turbulence, so as to make the flow smooth and orderly. When the flow reaches the orifice plate, it forms local contraction, so the flow rate increases and the static pressure decreases, then the pressure difference in front of and behind the orifice plate is generated. The greater the flow rate of the medium is, the greater the pressure difference. The flow rate is determined by measuring this pressure difference.
Features:
- Orifice plate can be replaced under pressure for dual chamber orifice fitting, no need to interrupt operation, avoid downtime, save time and cost
- Change the orifice plate with different bore diameters according to flow rate, more accurate measurement
- Suitable for the measurement of natural gas, steam, liquid, etc.
- No need to set additional pipeline, simple structure, stable performance, long service life
- Flexible and easy to operate, reliable seal, safe and economical
