Forging Introduction
Forging is the operation where the steel is heated and then a force is applied to manipulate the steel in such a way that the required final shape is obtained. As an important metal-working operation, forging is used to make simple shape parts like high pressure valve bodies, hydraulic fittings, pipe fittings, gears, shafts, blots, hand tools and structural components for machinery.
WHM specializes in this industry and supply high pressure valve body, valve stems and hydraulic fittings and pipe fittings made by close-die forging. The forgings have good strength, toughness and are reliable for high pressure and critical applications.
